Uniform
School Uniform
School uniform gives children a sense of belonging and encourages them to have a pride in their school.
Our uniform consists of black skirt or trousers with a white shirt and a black jumper or cardigan. Branded items are available from our School Uniform Supplier, M Warren & Co, which is a local company based at Unit 38, Chadkirk Business Park, Vale Road, Romiley. Orders for items can be via the website or by direct visits to the premises. Please click on the bee below to access the Warrens website.
We also have a selection of pre-loved uniform which is available from the Uniform Shed in the main playground.
Please make sure that all items of clothing and belongings are clearly marked with your child’s name. Each term we have huge amounts of lost property, which we donate to charity, or dispose of, which could be returned to their owners if they were named.
Can my child wear jewellery?
We do not encourage the wearing of jewellery at school other than a watch. Please do not send your child to school with an expensive watch as the school is not able to take responsibility for it. Smart watches are not permitted in school.
If your child has pierced ears, please make sure that he/she wears small studs rather than hoop earrings. Earrings must be removed by the child for PE, games and swimming. If you are thinking of having your child’s ears pierced then please do so at start of the summer break to allow the piercings to heal.
Can my child take a mobile phone to school?
Mobile phones are strongly discouraged as they are considered unnecessary and potentially disruptive in school. In special circumstances. However, with the Headteacher’s consent, mobile phones may be brought to school but they must be handed in to the class teacher, who will ensure they are stored safely at the start of the day and collected at hometime.
