school dinners

We are a nut-free school. Some of our children have severe allergies, so please ensure any food items sent in to school do NOT contain nuts - e.g. peanut butter, cereal bars and many healthy snacks may contain traces of nuts.
Children have the choice of a cooked school meal, or they may prefer to bring their own packed lunch. Our meal providers are called Innovate, part of the IFG group. All school meals are in line with the government’s standards for school lunches and are cooked fresh on a daily basis. Please click on the document below for more information regarding the meals provided in school.
Parents must order in advance of the day via their School Grid accounts. You will receive an invitation to set up your account when your child is admitted to school. All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 will automatically receive a free school meal, so please encourage your child to try them.
If your child is in Years 3 to 6 and you pay for their school meals, please ensure the account is in credit. Meals cannot be supplied to a child unless payment has been received first.
If you are receiving Income Support, Job Seekers Allowance or Child Tax Credit then your child may be entitled to receive free school meals and also qualify school to receive additional funding called Pupil Premium. Please speak to a member of the school office staff, who will treat your enquiry with complete discretion.
Breaktimes
We achieved National Healthy School status and as such we expect all our children to eat a healthy snack. Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are all provided with free fruit and/or vegetables at morning break and we ask that KS2 children bring fruit or vegetables, or healthy alternatives only for their snack.
