Anti-Bullying

Try our new widget about bullying in preparation for Friendship Week.

‘Stay Safe in Cyber Space’ is the theme for this year’s National Anti-Bullying Week campaign.

We recently held an after school workshop for children about the possible dangers from the internet while parents were offered a presentation about cyber safety and were given the opportunity to discuss any concerns they may have.

How do we teach phonics?

Here we have a link to Mr Thorne's collection of over 244 phonics videos for children, parents, teachers and anyone learning to read English, using the synthetic phonics approach to learning to read.

These videos range from letter sounds to high frequency words, based on the UK Letters and Sounds document.

Over the last 4 years, the website has grown and his videos viewed over 4 million times.

At Romiley Primary School we encourage children to eat healthily. The images provide links to Food Standards Agency and their tips for a healthy lunchbox.
