European Languages Day  
European Day of Languages is held annually in September to promote tolerance and respect towards other people and other cultures. Pupils at Romiley celebrated by having a French theme which was organised by Mrs Driver and Mrs Spencer. Activities included: Pain au Chocolat breakfast, Fancy dress, songs, French Cricket, Eiffel Tower Building and French language lessons.

Each year, Year 6 children are offered the opportunity to go on a residential trip. Children take part in a range of activities that aim to develop cooperation and team building skills and overcoming personal fears such as the high wire. For  many, being away from home for the first time is also a challenge.

This academic year (July 2012) we will be visiting the Glaramara Centre in the Lake District. This video shows some of our activities from last year.

Royal Wedding Competitions  

As part of our Royal Wedding celebrations, children took part in a 'Design a Wedding Dress or Commerative Plate' competition. Bridal experts, Holly and Lynne, from 'Dream Dress Bridal' had the difficult task of judging the entries.
